"Mellow Yellow"

1. Narciso Rodriguez 2. Michael Kors 3. Giuseppe Zanotti 4. Carlo Miele 5. Jason Wu 6. Moschino Cheap & Chic 7. Unique

Like a burst of bright sunshine, yellow figures predominantly in the looks for spring and summer. I always think of yellow as one of those "wearer-friendly" colors due to it's many color variations. For those who feel that they cannot "do" the brighter shades, a muted or possibly pastel should work perfectly.

"Dress Code"

Beauitful "frothy" dresses added to a background of the slightest bit of "grittiness"........exceptional.

Zoe Saldana Co-Founds New Fashion Website

If you're a true fashion junkie like we are, there's been occasions when you've spent hours researching the name of a particular stylist, model or photographer whose work you've admired in a glossy. Trust us, not the easiest of feat, but that's all about to change thanks to Hollywood actress Zoe Saldana.

My Fashion Data Base (MyFDB.com), created by the stylish starlet and her beau Keith Britton, is to fashion what IMDB is to movies. The veritable fashion encyclopedia site features an extensive database of credited fashion images, editorials and campaigns gong as far back as 2007. Need to know all the covers and editorials Jourdan Dunn has ever shot? Or what the theme of Gucci's Spring/Summer 2004 campaign was? No sweat, MyFDB has got you covered.

Great site.....very nicely done with lots of valuable information.

Zagliani's Multi-colored Python Bag

Some women like to have their hands free at a fun evening, not just to meet people but may enjoy a drink or two too! That is when a shoulder bag scores over a clutch: you don’t have to worry about where to keep it when your hands are a bit occupied with more interesting things. And if you can't find a bag that goes with a particular outfit, try going with a multi colored bag instead.

Check out this bag by Zagliani. This multicolored shoulder bag is made from 100% python skin. The front flap has a turn-lock which has a zipped pocket. The main compartment of the bag can be snapped close with a concealed magnetic closure mechanism. The insides of the bag are lined with 100% purple suede and has three pockets one with a zipper. The bag which is 31cm high, 49cm wide and 6cm deep, is finished with a silver metal chain which spots python skin running through the links. The bag is priced around $3,290 a piece.

Hermes Spring/Summer 2010 Ad Campaign

Loving the Hermès spring/summer 2010 ad campaign featuring Karlie Kloss, shot by Paolo Roversi and styled by Jacob K.

She manages a gorgeous pose sleeping on a pile of pillows, each covered with a different Hermes scarf.

I really love this campaign! It's as if each picture tells a story that moves beyond the actual accessory.

Style Icon: Iris Apfel

This eighty-six year old lady is the epitome of style. She wears big, bold jewelry and beautiful ornate clothing. So popular is she, that a book was written about her titled: THE IRREVERENT IRIS APFEL: RARE BIRD OF FASHION. The book contains clothing and jewelry that is absolutely breathtaking. I like the fact that she has and revels in her "individual style". She does not follow the "fashion path"....she has created her own.

Gracious Beauty Audrey Hepburn

I think that she will always be remembered most for her role in Breakfast At Tiffany's, but from what I have read about her, she was a beautiful person inside and out. Here is a quote that was spoken by her that I think sums up the type of person that she was...."never let yourself grow up believing that anybody if different from anybody else.....love each other and do what you can for your neighbor".
