Louis Vuitton Men's Fall/Winter 2010-11 Accessories

A Cool, sleek and classic collection. I love the "cracked" leather "tie-dye look" bag with the oranges and yellows........that "rustic" worn element adds to it's appeal. I also love the shoes.......especially the zipper back boots in picture eight.

Disney Set to Release Limited Edition Princess Tiana Doll

Can't get your daughter to pick up her toys? Disney's set to release the perfect submission tool--the limited edition Princess Tianna Doll. Disney's first Black princess looks radiant dressed like she was plucked right out of the Bayou wedding scene from "The Princess and the Frog", with big curls that frame her face, a gorgeous multi-layered dress detailed with rhinestones and a little bridal bling to frost her ears and neck. Our favorite accessory has to be the puckering frog prince, awaiting his kiss from his princess bride. You can pre-order the doll--exclusively sold at Disney Store--for $99.50 and get a three-disk (DVD, BluRay and Disney File) edition of the new Disney Classic, meaning you'll push a hard bargain for a clean room. Seriously, milk it and and you could have the most obedient kid on the block. Plus it'll be fun to watch her freak over Princess Tiana.

Model Spotlight: Jessica White

Jessica White may be one of the very few high fashion models that your man has heard of. Sure, she’s walked Ralph Lauren and Oscar de la Renta’s runways and has posed for all the top glossies—but it was her wildly sultry spreads in almost every Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue since 2003 and her slinky status as one of Victoria’s Secret’s most popular Angels (here, she’s walking in Victoria’ Secret’s 2007 show) that catapulted her from fashion industry favorite to mainstream sex symbol.

Manolo Blahnik Spring/Summer 2010

(Marie Claire U.K.)

Whew...........what a S-E-X-Y collection! Manolo Blahnik never disappoints with his uniquely designed and detailed beauties.

All About Tulle

1. J. Mendel 2. D&G 3. Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci 4. Isaac Mizrahi 5. Valentino

(Marie Claire)

I've been swooning over J. Mendel's dress since the first time that I viewed the spring collection......it is one eye-catching beauty; and the color! Not to be discounted in any way is Isaac Mizrahi's beautiful design.....the mix of fabrics is perfection. Oh, and the shoes.........gorgeous! The Givenchy's "muted" color and style would work well with either of the dresses and Those impeccable Valentino's are are a site to behold.......a pair that I definitely wouldn't cover up with a long gown.......short dresses only!

Stella McCartney's Spring Ad Campaign

STELLA’S SPOTS: Stella McCartney has put an old pal at the center of her spring ad campaign: Lucky, the pet dalmatian her family had when she was growing up. The black-and-white image of Lucky — shot by Linda McCartney in 1976 — serves as the backdrop to the ads, which feature Natalia Vodianova. The campaign, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, was styled by McCartney and the art direction was done in house.

“I love the way it’s very graphic and soft at the same time, due to its double exposure,” said McCartney of her mother’s photo, which is entitled “Lucky, Sussex, 1976.” As for her choice of Mert and Marcus, McCartney told WWD: “I have known Marcus since I was a teenager and Mert from when they first met, but we never had the chance to work together. I wanted to capture their high-glamour approach over my mum’s low-maintenance way of working.”

She said the campaign images are “fashion meets reportage, mixing color, and black-and-white. A family animal with an outside atmosphere meets studio lights, camera, action! Opposites meeting in one image, illustrating the masculine and feminine sides of the Stella McCartney brand,” she said.

The ads will break in the March issues in the British, French and Italian editions of Vogue as well as in V and Pop.

Immaculate designs! It appears that she is forging a new path and creating more detailed and "sculptural" pieces which all adds up to one stunning collection.

Style Icon: Iris Apfel

This eighty-six year old lady is the epitome of style. She wears big, bold jewelry and beautiful ornate clothing. So popular is she, that a book was written about her titled: THE IRREVERENT IRIS APFEL: RARE BIRD OF FASHION. The book contains clothing and jewelry that is absolutely breathtaking. I like the fact that she has and revels in her "individual style". She does not follow the "fashion path"....she has created her own.

Gracious Beauty Audrey Hepburn

I think that she will always be remembered most for her role in Breakfast At Tiffany's, but from what I have read about her, she was a beautiful person inside and out. Here is a quote that was spoken by her that I think sums up the type of person that she was...."never let yourself grow up believing that anybody if different from anybody else.....love each other and do what you can for your neighbor".
